Here is another revolutionary technology that pertains to the web and person to person web conferencing. Feel free to share this WowWe Video below with anyone you wish. Turn Up Your Speakers!

GO TO: http://www.wowwelive.com/site/proof.aspx then click on "Create Your Own WowWe Moment"

A client of mine, Gary Pflug, is involved in selling this technology for realtors to video their listings for virtual tours and such. Very interesting.

The future is NOW!

Hi Jerry, Thanks for reading our blog and for making your comment. I guess what you mentioned is the most important part of this to me. I am the one who setup Skype and I setup Google Chat on my machine. Since I am so unsophisticated about these things, the fact that I was able to do it with no trouble is proof that most anyone with an interest in doing so can do it.

Actually, I've used Skype over the years for computer to computer contacts with our programs throughout Brazil but never the video aspect. I really appreciated your article as you wrote it in my terms that allowed me to put all of the pieces together into a comprehensive service. Some of my professional and family contacts do have webcams but I've been lagging behind the time in getting one as I felt that it was too much techie stuff for me and being the 'accidental techie' of my organization I figure enough is enough.. But your article has encouraged me and soon I'll be Skypeing with my video cam... Thanks Kathy.. Happy Holidays

Hi Gayle, Thanks for your comment. Our one experience with my cousin in France was great. Their camera was a problem but with a new webcam, I think they will be fine. I will be curious to see if we have delays sometimes. As the technology improves, I expect these connections will just get better.

Hello SOS! Very good article, Thank You. This is something I can relate to since I am a 'techy' type and not a medical/psychological type :) I have used the yahoo messenger with my web cam to chat and watch my sister and her baby girl, Sahara, and my nephew, Kendall, over in England. When she first moved there a couple of years ago, my mom in Marianna, me from Clermont, and my sister over in Fleet Hampshire UK, and my Aunt in Panama City had a blast on the webcam phones but now, its rare. There are still some issue with slow feeds and such but pretty sure the technology will be there for clear online live video feed like your hi def tv! It is very cool. I love technology and the advancements. It's all so entriguing and very interesting!

Kathy, you might be interested in ooVoo (http://www.oovoo.com/). This is very similar to Skype, but allows three simultaneous video conversations (in the free version) and up to six in a paid version. This allows conferencing with multiple family members.
