Albany Psychological Associates has been providing psychological services to the Capital District of New York since 1986. Currently, nine licensed psychologists and social workers provide individual counseling to adults, adolescents, and children, as well as family and couples therapy. Services include assessment and counseling for the concerns that confront individuals and families today including marital and relationship problems, child-rearing concerns, separation and divorce, bereavement and other major life transitions. Albany Psychological Associates provides treatment for patients with more serious emotional disorders including depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and psychological complications of medical conditions. Additionally, APA conducts evaluations for forensic purposes, both civil and criminal.
